Yang Style Tai Chi
Tai Chi has been practiced among the Chinese people since the 16th century it is an exercise based on natural flowing movement with emphasis on relaxation that will energise you, build flexibility, balance and vitality. The nature-mimicking movements and postures allow practitioners to feel a deeper kinship with nature. Tai Chi connection with nature brings a sense of refreshing clarity to both mind and body a session of tai chi leaves you feeling energised rather than fatigued promoting a sense of diligence this is the essence of a Tai Chi inspired life.
Tai Chi translates as 'The Great Balancing Force' the first stage is known as regulating the body eventually you can progress through the stages of regulating the breath, the mind, the Qi, and the spirit.
Health Qigong
Qigong' translates as 'Energy Work' and is a system of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health and wellbeing. Some of the benefits include increased general vitality, improved flexibility, boosting the immune system, improved balance and co-ordination.
Together Tai Chi and Qigong has been practiced for hundreds, even thousands of years this exercise is now practiced throughout the world and is recognised as offering an exceptionally successful way of maintaining health.
